What is Songbox?
Songbox is an online meeting place, linking the creators of music (songwriters, artists, producers, bands) with businesses within the music industry (music publishers, records companies, managers, clubs etc.). Our focus is on unsigned and unpublished music and the community is open to everyone.

Songbox for Artists
Today, more than 8,000 music creators and 300 companies make up the Songbox network, providing a link between those who create music and those who use music in their business. Through Songbox, you as a music creator, can stay in touch with other creators, find out what the industry is looking for, participate in events and leads, and much, much more!

Pitch of the Month and more
When you are ready to get heard by the industry Pitch of the Month is at your service. Each month Songbox selects up to ten songs which have been submitted to Pitch of the Month and presents these to the companies associated with us. So, by submitting your songs to Pitch of the Month, you have an opportunity to get your songs heard by key decision makers within the music industry. If your song(s) for whatever reason are not selected, you will nonetheless receiving a rating from Songbox giving you an indication of how your music is perceived by a panel of experienced music professionals. For additional feedback you can also use the Feedback Panel service where you get a written review of your song.

Membership
Songbox membership is free! As a music creator you are free to register an account and use the Songbox website. However, if you want to use one of the many services on offer, you need to purchase Songbox credits.

Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3

1. Open an Account - It is free to open up a Songbox account and to create your profile. You can add information about yourself with pictures, videos and more. To see a sample profile click here.

2. Upload your music – Once you have created your account you are ready to upload your music. You can have up to 20 songs simultaneously uploaded in your account. In order to maintain your integrity, uploading your music to Songbox does not automatically make it accessible to the public, unless you want it to be.

3. Participate in Songbox events – If you want to participate in Pitch of the Month or other various Songbox events and leads, you need to purchase Songbox credits.
